Prof. Ning Wang

Dalian Maritime University



Wang Ning is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Dalian Maritime University.He is a Senior Member of the IEEE, and a Fellow of the IMarEST, the IET, the ISCM, and the IIAV. Professor Wang completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Marine Engineering at Dalian Maritime University from September 2000 to July 2004. He then pursued his Ph.D. in Control Theory and Control Engineering at the same university from September 2004 to December 2009. During his doctoral studies, he participated in a joint Ph.D. program at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, from August 2008 to August 2009.Following his Ph.D., he served as a Lecturer and Master's Supervisor at Dalian Maritime University from December 2009 to June 2011. During this period, he was also a Visiting Scholar at the World Maritime University from April to June 2011. He was promoted to Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor in July 2011 and held this position until June 2016. From August 2014 to August 2015, he conducted research as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Texas, USA. In July 2016, he was appointed as a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Dalian Maritime University. His research focuses on Intelligent Marine Robotics, Green and Intelligent Ships, and Marine Artificial Intelligence.




Prof. Quanbo Ge
Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology, China





Quanbo Ge, male, is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, a Postdoctoral Fellow of Zhejiang University; he is also a Young and Middle-aged Academic Leader of the "Qinglan Project" in Jiangsu Provincial Universities, a recipient of the 4th Youth Science Award of the Chinese Association of Automation, and a Visiting Scholar at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Minnesota, USA. He has published and been accepted nearly 100 high-quality academic papers in journals such as IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control (IEEE TAC), IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics (IEEE TIE), IEEE Transactions on Computers (IEEE TC), and Acta Automatica Sinica, and presided over more than 30 scientific research projects including General and Key Programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and major national defense special projects. Meanwhile, he holds multiple academic positions: Deputy Director of the Youth Working Committee of the Chinese Association of Automation, Deputy Director of the Professional Committee on Autonomous Unmanned Systems of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, Deputy Director of the Professional Committee on Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Education of the Chinese Association of Automation, and Executive Deputy Director of the Professional Committee on Autonomous Unmanned Systems of the Jiangsu Association of Automation; he also serves as Associate Editor of International Journal of Systems Science and Editorial Board Member of journals such as Acta Automatica Sinica, Journal of Command and Control, and Control Engineering. His main research areas include autonomous intelligent unmanned systems, low-altitude intelligent transportation systems, intelligent perception and learning control, and intelligentization of dynamic systems.
